We’ve started work on a major new project in Kerala funded by the Global Challenges Reseach Fund. Project MeHeLP is being run by De Montfort University and is a collaboration with Loughborough University, Excavate, Lokadharmi and Keralan mental health organisations MHAT and MEHAC.

Working alongside those who access support from these mental health services, their families and local communities, the project will explore their stories and their understandings of living with mental ill health. Our work will be in helping to produce a number of theatrical interventions and in the creation of a film with the Keralan film director Priyanandanan.
