GenViR UK-India Network

Over 2022 and 2023 we were part of the GenViR UK-India Network Project. This highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary project sought to explore and create a novel applied theatre methodology to explore and mobilize resources to mitigate gender-based violence (GBV) against young and older adult migrant women in slum dwelling communities in India.

Although we were not involved directly in the work in India, we helped to devise the workshop process that was used as the template for the basti activities. A website detailing the results from this work, along with a number of academic papers, are currently being produced.
