Granma’s Kitchen
Over the first months of 2024 we worked with a number of refugee based organisations in the city to gather stories from those who have experience of the asylum and refugee system. During a series of cook-ins together we explored the importance of food, and of being able to cook (which you cannot do in hotel accommodation), on our sense of individual and collective identity. These were shared at an event during Refugee Week, bringing together people from a wide range of communities and cultures.
