The Girl in the Woods
A community play for Halloween set in Bramcote Woods and based around the history of Bramcote Hills House. The Girl In The Woods was our attempt at a classic English ghost story, full of dread and melancholy. As the audience moved along a path that cut between deep woods and ran alongside the site of the old house they were drawn into a world of family secrets and dark retribution where poachers, lords, ladies and butlers found themselves caught up in a series of spine tingling and unexpected happenings.
With four performances over two nights it was a demanding production but every ticket sold out and we could have done it all over again. This was possibly our most visually striking performance to date.
