Your Village No Longer Exists

This was a new challenge for the company – to make a small scale touring show based on the issues facing communities across towns and villages in Nottinghamshire.

Commissioned by the Nottingham Consortium the result was a unique experience every time where each village took centre stage. Using photographs, film clips, footage of vanishing and exploding buildings, statistics and riddle like clues all specific to the eleven villages where the show was performed three detectives (with more than a little help from the audience) managed to prevent the tragedy that had befallen Fenny Bentley which had literally vanished off of the map from happening again.

Commissioned through the Nottinghamshire Consortium and the Village Ventures Scheme and financed through the Regional Arts Lottery Programme (East Midlands). Supported by Arts Council England. The Village Ventures Scheme is promoted by Artservice.
