It was during our residency in Bilborough, when two of the shows were made for indoor spaces, that we started to experiment with film. Julian Hanby became an absolute genius at making pathe newsreels and other short films which gave our shows of that period a real quirkiness. You’ll see some of these here, along with a great film about our work in Bilborough, the full length documentary about the Ashfield luddites (An Act of Defiance), some of the films made for the Breathing Spaces project, and a couple of films that we made with colleagues in Kerala (which look marvellous on a big screen). There are more things to see from our work in India at the MeHelp Movie Zone (we worked on the ten films on page 1), our Vimeo channel, and you can always look at the old Hanby and Barrett youtube channel.
