Two more audio projects on the way
Our final audio walk for Sherwood Voices has been completed and we are gearing up for the production of the maps and a launch event in the village to mark the end of what has been perhaps our largest ever project. In total we have produced a staggering 96 audio tracks, and worked with around 350 people in the making of these seven walks. The walk can be accessed here and will also soon be available on the Inspire website.
As we’ve been in post-production for this walk we’ve also been rehearsing for our audio guide that will take listeners on a history of the Oakham Canal. Funded by the NLHF this project has returned us to the home of two of our most successful projects (The Takeover, way back in 2003 and The Rutlanders Return in 2018). Recording takes place, with a community cast, in Nottingham and Uppingham over February, with the launch due for April.
