We’re heading once more to ICAF
In just over two weeks time we’ll be heading to Rotterdam to take part in the greatest gathering of community artists on the planet – ICAF.
This time we’ll be part of The Exchange Plaza where we’ll be guiding people through the film of one of the Suno Suno performances through 3D goggles and talking about our work both here and also in Kerala.
This is our fourth festival and the third we have taken part in, after sharing our work as part of the East Midlands Participatory Arts Forum and then, in 2014, being part of the Caravan of Dreams project. (Andy’s essays: Day 2-5) based on their travels can be found here).
It’s always a highlight of the year with some incredible companies and practitioners coming to the city to share their work, engage in discussion and hold practical workshops, (including Jasmina Wojcik, Appalshop and Rooftop Theatre Group). Of course we’re very much aware that all of the hard work of Anamaria, Jasmina and Eugene (along with the rest of the team) is very much being put to the test with the current situation potentially impacting on people’s travel plans, but we hope that as many of those who were planning to come will be able to make it.
