Over the last few months we’ve been involved in a whole range of discussions and debates with practitioners and companies from across Europe as we have sought to understand and improve our work, as well as to stimulate wider discussion within the sector about the value and working methods of participatory performance. As part of this programme we are delighted that Titia Bouwmeester will be coming to Nottingham to work with our associate team and to help us investigate our current projects and to plan for the future. Titia was Artistic Director of the hugely influential Dutch company Dogtroep and now runs the wonderful 5ekwartier and her approach to creating truly exciting performance work with communities and neighbourhoods is something that we are looking forward to learning from.
